Electricity is the heartbeat of any industry/office and Transformer is the heart of the Company but today scenario hardly any industry receive Healthy electric supply (Constant Voltage) due to the long transmission line, imbalance between supply & demand of power & poor infrastructure. Higher & Lower voltages above rated voltage adversely affect the life of the equipment and consume more power thus increases the burden on the balance sheet of the company. Generally, 90 % of the industrial load is of motors and the higher current effects the Electric motors (particularly smaller capacity motors up to 7.5 H.P.) in three ways

The Higher current produces higher losses in electrical motors which cause premature failure of winding.
These higher losses of electric motors also increase the losses of cables, switches, transformers & other associated equipment.
For smooth continuous operation of motors, overload relays are usually set at 20% higher setting

With the installation of the stabilizer and maintaining 390/400 volts, the motor will operate smoothly drawing 15 - 20% lesser current and correspondingly the relay setting can be reduced by 15 - 20%. In case single phasing occurs, the relay will trip in 40 - 50 seconds. The motors can withstand the high current for this period and will be safe. Also, the relays, contactors, switchgear, etc. incorporated with the motor will be safe. L.T. AVR being easy to handle are installed in all the running units, units having L.T. connections, units having small H.T. connections. These can be manufactured for Balance Input Voltage and Unbalanced load or Unbalanced Voltage and unbalanced load
